“The archeological site is one of the generally unknown gems of southern Greece accessible via a short 70minute drive from Athens.”
One of the reasons I made this project was to discover my country that I have always felt has so much more to offer to the world both in terms of locations and of ideas.

I present to you the Unique Beach site of the Temple of Hera, Queen of the Gods during Winter! Hera wasn’t in an especially happy marriage as Zeus her husband god of the sky and thunder was rather a frisky character and had numerous love affairs with other goddesses and mortal women! He was especially sneaky as he would assume different physical forms such as that of a swan in order to seduce these women, yet I feel on this tranquil cove of azure waters Hera felt right at home!

One of the reasons I made this project was to discover my country that I have always felt has so much more to offer to the world both in terms of locations and of ideas. There are so many fascinating sites that do not enjoy the publicity they deserve and Greece is so much more than Mykonos and Santorini. One of my desires is to inspire your future travels so that you may take something real back with you, to challenge your views of life within the framework of an ancient wisdom and code of being that is totally lacking in this day and age.

The archeological site is one of the generally unknown gems of southern Greece accessible via a short 70minute drive from Athens. Situated in a serene cove of incredible natural beauty, the site sits prominently under a lighthouse and a small Greek Orthodox church accessible by a pathway with multiple steps that add to the experience as there is a processional dimension to the visit that feels more like a nature trail! During winter the entrance is free and it appears you can enjoy a remarkable life experience of swimming next to ancient ruins! I will follow up by calling the authorities to see how valid this is in the summer months!
